  Job Description:
  • The ESG officer will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities comply with social and environmental regulations and standards, assessing data and identifying compliance issues.
  • ESG officer shall conduct IEE/EIA for PV solar and other projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and developing mitigation strategies to minimize environmental impacts.
  • Certifications such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or ISO 14001 lead auditor are preferred.
  • Understanding local, national, and international regulations as well as IFC Perfomance Standard.
     
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or a related field, Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years in IEE/EIA management for Renewable Energy or Hydropower.
