Brand Communication Officer

Management Trainee- Business


Job Responsibilities

  • Understand each department's (e.g., development) daily processes and goals
  • Participate in the company's strategic planning, business/sales target, and budget planning.
  • RPT analysis and Research ways to increase profitability and lower risk
  • Preparation of daily/monthly/quarterly reports and submit to management along with preparing and giving presentations whenever required.
  • Identify trends and recommends proactive or remedial action to manage business situations.
  • Report market activity to management by monitoring and analyzing competitive price lists and products.
  • Prepare and conduct -sales/product training to CSD and other related departments.
  • Coordinate with brand and marketing team on a daily basis.

Technical Skills

Business Development Manager

  • A digital remittance co, in Nepal seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager (Asst. Manager level) to be stationed at M & S Tower, Pulchwok, Lalitpur. With the responsibility for the direction of business strategies, objectives, and targets through business performance and relationship management. He will be responsible and accountable for the execution assigned by his immediate reporting line.

Job description:

  • Liaise with international partners in order to determine marketing and business development needs to drive market share.
  • Effectively manage and expand the relationships with existing remittance partners
  • Acquire new Payments and Remittance customers
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Liaise with the project, operations, finance team, and various departments
  • Identify key business challenges; develop insights and recommendations to address them.
  • Identify and prospect identified potential clients via cold-call or email or in-person meetings outreach methodologies, whilst meeting or exceeding appointment targets set by the Business Manager.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills with the ability to set and meet stretching targets and strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles and company(remittance) policies.
  • Monitor the development of the companies products across the region to target customer segments based on locations and needs
  • Be familiar with all the migration diaspora client’s regulatory requirements for each continent or country.
  • Ability to build high-quality advisory relationships with migrant /ex-pats Nepalese community.
  • Adhere to company and statutory policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Work closely with all the department heads and spirits of the reporting manager. 

Experiences

  • A Master's degree with 5 years experience or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years in the remittance industry, FMCG retail, and sales.

Retail Sales Officer (International Sales)

Job purpose:

  • To target customer base to drive sales volume for the remittance product. To work closely with the representative officer, exchange houses, banks, and financial institutions to deliver to meet the target as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in coordination with representative officers working overseas on behalf of the company.
  • Building and deepening relationships with existing partners to achieve an increase in sales.
  • Setting clear sales and customer acquisition targets
  • Conducting market research-related functions i.e. competition management, products, and price points in order to achieve maximum market share and better margins for the company.
  • Focusing on business development by activating sales opportunities as assigned by the business team.
  • Ensuring that the business is booked as per laid down procedures & guidelines, and due diligence is carried out with respect to money laundering and other regulatory requirements
  • Assisting in the development of operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of the product
  • Working closely with the marketing team to plan promotion campaigns to build volumes.
  • Handling escalations related to products, customer service delays
  • Providing necessary MIS on a regular basis to the management, including daily sales report

Skills

  • Strong understanding of the migrant workers/ex-pat especially in the Gulf region
  • Knowledge of market economics and the working dynamics of the FX rates/remittance / local remittance company.
  • Negotiation Skills – ability to recognize and engage with different negotiation styles and techniques
  • Influencing Skills – approach situations differently allows customers to change their purchase-pattern
  • Relationship Management – To build the right rapport
  • Leadership and dealing skills- Motivate a team of sales and service staff

Experiences:

  • 3-4 years of experience in remittance/retails FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods).
  • Experience in handling customers and convincing skills.
  • Previous experience in remittances is an added advantage

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
