  Job Description:
  • Supervise daily construction and field activities, ensuring work quality and adherence to design and technical standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, local user committees, and technical teams to manage project implementation.
  • Monitor progress, prepare field reports, and provide regular updates to the project manager.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and social safeguards.
  • Conduct field verification of materials and quantities as per project design.
  • Support local capacity building through on-site guidance and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain proper documentation, measurements, and photographic records of project sites.
  • Facilitate communication between the organization, local government, and community stakeholders.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering (Sub-Engineer level) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience in construction supervision, preferably in NGO/INGO-funded projects.
  • Proven experience working in rural or mountainous terrain (experience in Solukhumbu or similar areas preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with local communities and stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic reporting tools.
  • Physically fit and willing to work under challenging field conditions.
